ROUX
Shire/Thoroughbred
Roux is a 25 year-old Shire/Thoroughbred. He is 16.2 hands and has been at Silver Bay Stables for 13 years. Roux was featured on an episode of Dr. Oakley Yukon vet! When not doing lessons, Roux enjoys bossing around his buddies Timber and Arrow and looking for dandelions to eat!
TIMBER
Quarter Horse
Timber is a 23 year old registered Quarterhorse. He is used for beginner lessons and loves York peppermint patties. Timber is only 14.2 hands so he is technically pony sized! Timber came to Silver bay Stables in 2021
Kiska
Appaloosa

Kiska is approximately 18 year old and an Appaloosa. She is used in our kids and Adult lessons. Her breed is an appaloosa, however she only has small spots on her feet just like Arrow. She is very sweet and my favorite thing about her is her floppy bottom lip! Kiska came to Silver Bay Stables from Wrangell in 2024.
Merlin
Appaloosa/Shetland Pony Mix

Merlin is an approximately 14 year old pony. He is some type of Appaloosa/ shetland pony mix but we are not sure. Merlin is starting to learn the ropes of lessons with small riders since he is only about 11 hand tall. He is spunky and mischievous. Merlin has been at Silver Bay Stables since 2024 and came with Kiska from Wrangell.
